It's funny what can happen over a month of footy. Yes i agree Geelong were beaten by a very disciplined Collingwood team back in May. However Geelong were going through the motions for the first half of the year and i certainly would not rated the win as "the way to beat them".
Geelong has since stepped up towards their true form and i doubt if Collingwoods best would get close to Geelong if they were to play next week.
A week may be along time in Footy, but a month or two must seem like an eternity. Geelong are playing as good now as the were when they won the flag last year.
Let's see if any one gets close to them over the next month or so leading up to the finals.
Oh, and you may think that i support Geelong.
You would be wrong to presume so.
Go TIGERS!!!

i think the way collingwood played is the way to beat any side. Hard to maintain that play for 22 weeks though. Lets not get to carried away geelong have lost 2 of their last 29 games... i think they are going ok but will be greatly boosted by the return of Ottens this week and hopefully chapman will return and rooke who was omitted should come back in for his hardness and pressure.

No Egan was highlighted by the monsters cloke and rocca which does leave some concern v hawthorn with franklin and roughead

Was great to watch in deed. I would be a bit worried in the Geelong camp as they played this bad against Freo and Richmond as well but due to them unable to win a game, they managed to mask their poor form. Collingwood are that little bit better.

Even my wife who does not know much realised that Geelong have been playing like rubbish and knew how to beat them :D
