Alan Aylett was once asked how many GFs Hawks would have won if they kept Ablett. Aylett answered “none”. He then went on to say “Hawks was a team and Gary Ablett was not a team player”. Kinder makes sense when Geelong won no GFs with G ABlett snr playing. There was two sets of rules for G Ablett.
