Dream Team To Tag Vic Stars
Mark Williams can’t be serious can he? He is going to tag Victorian players in this game in order for them to win the game. It’s great that he is taking the game seriously but do we really need to see tagging? Who wants to see Chris Judd, Garry Ablett (if he plays) or Jimmy Bartel not get a kick because they are being harassed, scragged smashed by a tagger. I reckon tagging should be banned from this game and just let both teams go head to head.

The passion the man brings to the table though in unquestionable! He hates Victoria and it shows, which is what you need to make these type of games great.

Wounded Tiger, I must be unfashionable as well then because I am looking forward to this game as well, Chocko get rid of the taggers!!!!

You will always get taggers and tagging is a part of the game. Victoria have Ling and Dream team have Cornes and so why not let them play their game and tag?? If they are the best of the best, they will beat the taggers anyway.
I think this is a classic Mark Williams stirring the pot story. The truth is that Williams has too much talent at his disposal to waste by forcing midfielders to play defensively. I’d be very surprised if the dream team really does tag.
Yeah I doubt you will see much tagging but you will see Ling and Cornes tag and then prob match ups like Judd v Kerr and Richardson v Goodes in the midfield.
There is a good match up Kick2Kick – Judd v Kerr!
The mouth-watering match-up for me has to be Richardson vs Goodes. But it’ll be really hard to be taking Goodes’ side!
