The Bogies
I was reading through the Herald Sun yesterday and came across “The Pulse” section written by Daryl Timms. This week the page was dedicated to “The Bogies” (instead of Logies). He cam up with a few award winners from the start of the AFL Football Season. I thought I would pop a few of the good ones up here for people to have a look (and laugh) at. If you have any of your own then post a comment.
GOLD BOGIE - Sydney Coach Paul Roos for sustained excellence. Who can forget the “don’t kick a goal” fiasco and also the recent 19th man situation.
SILVER BOGIE - Brian Lake His hamstring injury will be a feature in the next edition of the Medical Journal.
Best Acting Performance - The Winner is Brian Lake again for the same incident. I reckon a more deserving winner would have been Adam Hunter when he fell over when Barry Hall pushed him in the chest after smacking Brent Staker.
The Gordon Ramsay Award - Even Gordon would struggle to find the right words to describe Melbourne’s performances.
Best Drama - Wayne Carey on Enough Rope.
Funniest Home Video Award - Joint Winners, Nathan Brown, Brent Harvey and Brady Rawlings after their reactions to their drawn games.
Most Popular Reality Program - Melbourne Football Club’s series on how to win a game with Carlton’s series on Tanking in 2007 close behind.
There are a few of the good ones. Do you have any more or more deserving winners of the above awards?

Nick Riewoldt’s verbal tirade on Andrew Lovett the other week would make him a worthy winner of the Gordon Ramsay Award!
@HalfBackFlanker
Yes I like it!
Nah what about Maxxy go at Goose last week?? That could well be the Gordon Ramsay Award.
Last years best drama would be Ben Cousins.
